Understanding the Theatre: (TRDA-045, 3 Credits)
This course explores the art of the theatre; its literature, architecture, aesthetics, and mechanics. It studies the contributions of the playwright, actor, director, and designer and asks students to attend theatrical performances, presentations, and videos. This is a distance learning course.

This course explores the history of Western theatrical dance from the late 18th century to the presents; it examines the major choreographers and their dance works through readings, lectures, video, and discussion. This will satisfy a WID requirement and is a distance learning course.
