Mary Buckley is an Assistant Professor in the Theatre and Dance Department and Program Coordinator for the Women in the Arts Program on the Mount Vernon Campus ofGWU. Mary has performed in Washington, New York, California and throughout England.

As a Washington based dancer, she has performed the work of many DC based choreographers, among them Deborah Riley, Liz Lerman, Meriam Rosen,Virginia Freeman, Jan Van Dyke, Sharon Wyrrick and, most recently, with fellow faculty member Joseph Mills. She was previously a member of a British based dance company directed by Virginia Taylor. Currently she directs an Interdisciplinary Arts Seminar and teaches Dance historyand Movement Awareness in the dance program.
