Brent Stansell is a senior at The George Washington University in Washington,
DC. He graduates in May with a B.A. in English and Dramatic Literature. Brent
is spending this entire year working on his Honors Thesis in English examining
The Laramie Project. Specifically, Brent is exploring why at this particular time
the play is immensely popular, looking at why so many community, university,
professional and high school theatres are producing the play, and pondering the
possible cultural and social results. He is writing his thesis with financial
support from the Enosinian Scholars program at the university, the highest
recognition of scholarship given to students at GW. Brent is acting in The
Laramie Project
and also serves as the dramaturg. He also worked as
dramaturg on two previous shows for the GW Mainstage,Enchanted Night and
A Chorus Line.

Sign Language Interpreters John Mark Ennis and Krista Walker will be available for
Thursday nights performance.
