Time: 7:01 PM Mountain Time

I just called Doc and asked if his limousine service was running tonight. He said it wasn't and I didn't press him because I got the impression he didn't want to be bothered. So that means no more meeting people tonight or on this trip, since I'm headed to the airport early tomorrow morning. That makes five people from the play that I've met, eleven people from Laramie I've sat down with. Sixty characters from a play that I feel more familiar with, and one community that I understand in a much greater way. I feel like I've made the contacts with the people who are willing or available to talk with me. I'll call Harry Woods next week, get an e-mail to Romaine and Rob DeBree through Jim. I'm already talking about another trip to Laramie: Keith says I need to come when it's beautiful in the summer. I might want to do research at the Matt Shepard collection at the American Heritage center and Zackie has offered me a place to stay. I've also made amazing contacts here: Rebecca said she would answer any more questions I had, Beth said she'd be happy to read my work and Jim would put me in touch with so many people. I'm headed to dinner. Perhaps I'll write more. Perhaps I'll be inspired to write or remember once I've left. But for now, I'm hungry.
